The Shipgate is a residential development in the heart of Chester, built against the Roman walls and the River Dee.
We manage our own development, all home owners becoming Directors of The Shipgate Management Company. Currently our managing agent is Estates Property Management who coordinate communication, site cleaning and basic maintenance. Their contact details can be found below.

Built in 1984 the Development has 17 properties. We see a lot more of each other than street-neighbours, with most of our front doors opening onto a shared courtyard. This is part of the charm of The Shipgate community.
